Teeth Whitening Treatment Successfully Performed at Root32 Dental Clinic, Kalyan Nagar

At Root32 Dental Clinic, Kalyan Nagar, we recently carried out a professional in-office teeth whitening treatment for a 28-year-old male patient who was concerned about yellowish discoloration of his teeth.

Patient Concern & Clinical Evaluation

The patient visited our clinic with a complaint of visible tooth discoloration affecting his smile. On clinical examination, we observed generalized extrinsic stains on the teeth, while the enamel structure was healthy and intact. The initial tooth shade recorded before treatment was B4.

Treatment Procedure

After a detailed consultation and obtaining informed consent, we proceeded with in-office power bleaching. The treatment was performed using a hydrogen peroxide–based whitening agent, strictly following manufacturer-recommended protocols.

• Care was taken to protect the gums and surrounding oral tissues throughout the process

Results & Outcome

The results were immediately visible. The tooth shade improved significantly from B4 to A1, resulting in a brighter and more confident smile. The patient reported no immediate sensitivity, and a desensitizing agent was applied post-treatment as a preventive measure.

Post-Treatment Care

The patient was advised to:

• Avoid staining foods and beverages such as coffee, tea, and colored foods for 48 hours
• Maintain good oral hygiene to prolong the whitening results

The patient expressed high satisfaction with the outcome and was pleased with the natural- looking brightness achieved.
