A completely edentulous patient visited our clinic with the chief complaint of difficulty in chewing food, which was affecting daily eating habits and overall comfort. The patient also expressed concern about facial appearance due to the absence of teeth.

Clinical Examination & Diagnosis

On thorough clinical examination, both the upper (maxillary) and lower (mandibular) arches were found to be completely edentulous. The ridge form was adequate for complete denture rehabilitation, and all oral mucosa appeared healthy with no signs of pathology.

After evaluating the patient’s functional and aesthetic needs, a complete denture treatment plan for both arches was formulated and clearly explained. Informed consent was obtained before proceeding.

Treatment Procedure

The complete denture fabrication was carried out in a step-by-step, systematic manner to ensure comfort, function, and long-term success:

• Primary impressions were taken to record the basic anatomy
• Secondary (final) impressions were made for precise tissue adaptation
• Jaw relations were recorded to establish correct vertical dimension and centric relation
• Trial dentures were evaluated intraorally for aesthetics, speech (phonetics), and bite (occlusion)
• Necessary adjustments were made before final processing
